St. Vitus Church was built on the 5th June 1734 by a Pilsen architect Jakob Auguston Jr. and belongs to his supreme works. Church of St. Vitus is a Czech baroque jewel, and one of the most interesting baroque buildings in Bohemia. Building of similar type in Central Europe there are only two. The second one is the Church of St. Anna in Taneberk in Vseruby Pass, but it did not reach such large importance.
The central building is a Baroque church with sixteen pointed building into oval. It is situated at the former graveyard, which was abolished by the year 1789 and the tombstones were destroyed. Construction was up to 90th of the 20th Century surrounded by houses and gardens. The church has four entrances, each leads to the one point of the compass with beautiful sandstone portals.
