There is a sacred granite burial site on the hill, the identity of which is disputed between Arabs and Israelis - everyone agrees that the tomb belongs for sure to a holy man who lived there centuries ago, Arabs say it s the final resting place of Sheikh Abbad, a 16th century Shia Muslim cleric, while Israelis believe it s the cript containing the remains of Rabbi Ashi.
