Trempealeau is a village in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,843 at the 2020 census. The village is located within the Township of Trempealeau.

The Great River State Bike Trail passes directly through Trempealeau. North takes you to the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge; south takes you all the way to LaCrosse.

Mississippi River Lock and Dam No. 6 is located at the southeast end of the Village - There is a visitor observation area to view lock operations.
