US Coast Guard Station Manistee (Manistee, Michigan)

Established as a US LifeSaving Service Lifeboat Station in 1879, Station Manistee has occupied this spot for over 130 years and presently is responsible for an area which covers over 270 miles of shoreline and 4,485 square miles of Lake Michigan. Equipped with a 47 foot Motor Life Boat and a 25 foot Response Boat, the Station is home to a crew complement of 18 active duty and five reservists who man the Station year round.

USCG Station Mantisee is part of the US Coast Guard's 9th District, Sector Lake Michigan.
