Honeymoon Island State Recreation Area is one of Florida's last undeveloped beaches.
Bordered on the South by Hurricane Pass, and on the north by a collection of sand bars, the island protects the backwater of St. Joseph Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway channel which runs through it.
Access is granted via the Honeymoon Island Cswy. from Dunedin.
