it was nt an effort of the RSS...it was a sincere struggle made by the residents of housing board colony (Ganeshpuri known then) against the MLA at that time, Mr. Ashok Naik Salgaonkar who was against the contruction of the templee because he wanted to use the space for washing his buses.
