  • Is it the school called" King George convent" in 1960's??
  • I studied from the ages of 5 to 10 at what was then called Christ King Convent School. This was 1950 - 55. I have lived in England for the last 45 years. After Christ King Convent School, I went to St Paul's High School in Vepery, Chennai, then MCC for one year and finally to IIT Chennai. I did my PhD in London. My mother Mrs Leela Gnanadoss was the Assistant Headmistress of the High School. The reason why I am writing this post is to find out how to trace my teacher Hilda. I believe she was my class teacher in 1957. She was a very loving and caring teacher and I have very fond memories of her and Christ King Convent School. I would like to write to her and let her know what a happy time I had in her class. Thank you to anyone who can help.
  • The Best School!!! Teachers of this School r extremely caring nd kind. Sisters, made it a compulsion for all d students of the School to converse only in English and that is what which made d Students of this School to speak English fluently...! Special mention abt my teacher Ms.Rosalind Rozario she taught us wid great painss d art of Language nd also taught d importance of speakinn good English in today's world! Sister Sylvia, she was a great encourager she encouraged students to succeed nd achieve great heights and above all to behave in a disciplined manner! This School(Christ King Convent) not only teaches a Student his or her own lessons but also teaches how to behave in a disciplined manner nd Value Education that iz it simply teaches how to b humane!!!! Luv thizz School to d moon nd back!! Thank u all!!!
