USA / Wisconsin / Two Rivers / Two Rivers, Wisconsin
 military, United States Coast Guard

Built as a Lifeboat Station for the US LifeSaving Service during the Civil War, USCG Station Two Rivers was originally a seasonal station and closed during the winter months until 1925, when it came under regular military service. Rebuilt in 1909 the station came under US Coast Guard control and during World War II served as one of the check points for basic training of new USCG recruits. The entire station was extensively modified in 1986 to support new boats, crews and technologies, which included the building of a boathouse large enough to accomodate the station's 41ft Utility Boat.

Today the station operates year round as a Small Boat Station and covers an area consisting of Western Lake Michigan at 43-58.0’ N to 43-51.0’ N, 087-00.0’ W to 44-20.0’ N, 087-00.0’ W to northwesterly to the shoreline at 44-29.0'. The station is part of the US Coast Guard's 9th District, Sector Lake Michigan.
