  • Chas Kaman Dam is a beautiful dam located on way to BhimaShankar. The road is good and the surroundings pictursque. Depth of water at the wall of the dam is about 150 meters. Most beautiful during the monsoon. Water stays in the dam whole year. Sahyadri School is by the dam is a Krishnamurthy Foundation school of International fame. Ambrish Tyagi a technocrat turned farmer has brought in modern farming technologies to bring prosperity to the Tribals in the region. Another feeder tank to Chas-Kaman dam by name Kalmudi is under construction and completed the first phase of 30 meters height.
