The Common is a large area of rough grassland with open views to the west of High Wycombe, on the edge of Lane End village. Local commoners have grazing rights. Conservation groups, working with the Ranger Service, are very active on the 25 hectares of common, where there are wild flowers, ponds, allotments and paths through the scrub and trees.
