An important area of heathland and woodland for species native to southern England, this large set of individual commons towards Oxshott and Cobham and is home to badgers, rabbits, hares, foxes, woodpeckers, gorse, native berries and ancient woodland. There are a few mansions of a couple of acres, mostly towards Cobham however the total area of the commons exceeds 150 acres.
