When we first moved in this house had a forest of trees in the backyard, a gravel roof, really old windows and doors, a carport, and central heat (but no air). I (Matthew) used to swing from a vine that was hanging from the palm tree in front. I used to climb to the top of a Sapodilla tree in the backyard and look over the neighborhood from at least 20 feet up. Atlantic Blvd did not go all the way to I-95. There was a K-Mart at the corner of SR7. The Winn-Dixie a little further east was a Tabble Supply. There was no huge shopping center in between.

While living there, we removed some trees in the backyard, but added some small avocados and a gumbo limbo. In the front we added a Ficus (big mistake) and a mango. I think we also had a small orange tree. At some point we converted the carport into a garage, added A/C to the central heat, and upgraded all the windows and doors.
