former parking, squatted and transformed into a neighborhood park by grassroots initiative.

A former parking lot meant to be build into another big building amongst the others in one of the most dense built neighborhood.
Dwellers of that neighborhood and other civilians prevented this by taking the decision to occupy the parking lot transforming it into a garden - playground for children - open public space for the neiborhoud.
Other activities of the park's commission are projection of movies, parties, talking evenings etc all regarding political aspects of local and national problems such as ecology.
The neighborhood movement with its lawyers tries nowdays to find a legal formula that makes sure that the park will stay as such in the future.
