  I wish to convey the message about spritual.In Perungattur Kaliyuga Kadavul "SRI ANJANEYAR TEMPLE" is available which is the only one surrounding 30KM area. Also I wish to highlight one more news which is not known to many of the local people which is --- In One place the foot print of ANJANEYA SWAMI is available on the rock. For your dream come to true you have to go and worship. It will definitely happen. Lord SIVA known as "Sarntharai Katha Eswar" is in the village as BIG LINGAM in SLANTED position. The village has "Lord Perumal" and Neelamanicka Perumal Koil. Grama Devathai PONNI AMMAN is also in the heart of the Village. The festival ADI THIRUVIZA is famous in the village with Mariamman, Ponniamman swamys village round trip along with Alagu Kuthal, Fire works, Manjal Thanni and Drama. During this festival both Lord Perumal & Ponniamman will come on any of the devotees and give their blessings. The entire surrounding of Perungattur including Thenkalani, Hasanamapet are blessed with Gods blessings as you can see more temples on all the three villages.
