Azaleas Valley is the botanically protected area of ​​Zalaegerszeg Lowerland.

It was led by Gyula Fatalin for the example of the Jeli arboretum from an imperceptible acacia. In the sixties and seventies tropical plants were experimentally planted in the special microclimate valley. They received the seedlings primarily from the Signal. In a mountainous atmosphere, the collection became later arboretum-like.

In the valley you can find the cologne of fir, mammoth, serbluc, szitkaluc, european and japanese larch, fir tree, caucasian fir, green and blue ducks, and various tuja.

It is a beautiful sight of the azalea collection that bloomed in the spring, from which the name of the valley was given (rhododendron).

In addition to the Azáleás valley, in the area of ​​24 hectares called Snake or Roka valley, many of the species introduced have an arboretum character to the countryside.
