The Wando Arboretum is green all year round being one of the best and largest arboretums in the world. There are 15 buildings and approximately 3,450 types of plants and animals in 2050 hectares/7.9 square miles.

The main facilities are a forest exhibition hall, tropical - subtropical greenhouses, observatory, observatory road, water garden, campsite and basketball court. It is posible to stroll through the wooded areas and enjoy hiking throughout every season.


Wando Arboretum is the largest breeding site of sub-tropical plants and trees in the country. It is home to approximately 750 types of sub-tropical plants, including the evergreen oak, camellia trees, and cacti.

Popular attractions in the arboretum include, the four-season garden, a lake, flowers arranged under different themes, as well as the Arboretum of Aquatic Plants. There are many beautiful promenades visitors can stroll through and enjoy.
