Vanand

Vanand is a village that sits 5 kilometers from the Armenian border with Turkey, and is located in the southwestern portion of the Armavir Province in Armenia. The village was founded in 1984 from a sovkhoz (collective farm), and was once in an area once closed to foreigners. There is one school, a house of culture, a community center, and no monuments.
