Designed c. 1909 by Tracy, Swartwout & Litchfield in the Neoclassical style as the Denver U.S. Post Office & Federal Building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic places on 3/20/1973 and is also listed on the Colorado State Register of Historic Properties. The interior contains a mural above the 19th Street entrance by Herman T. Schladermundt titled "Fortune Turns on Her Wheel The Fate of Kings" (1918).
This government building currently houses the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
