Savan mah me is jagah pe bhahut bada mela lagta hai. Is pahad ke upar Bhagvan Shri Hanumanji ka mandir hai jiske darshan ke liye har sanichar ke din dur dur se log chalte huhe aate hai jo ki unki ek din ki yatra ka avsar hota hai. Yah jagah muze bhahut pasant hai kauki is jagahse meri bahut sari yade judi hui hai. jaise ki mai aur mere bahut sare dost lagbhag 12 K M se chalte huhe bhagvan ke darshn ke liye nikal padte the jiski shurat bade savere hoti thi. savere 6 baje hum log apne apne ghar se nikalkar chalte chalte aaya karte the.

Today I am 66 years old, and my father had told me when I was just 10 years old that you must visit Jarandeshwar and take darshan of Hanumanji. He had gone there in 1938 when he was a school boy. So, In year 1998 I visited Jarandeshwar and after about 4 hours of trekking, I reached at the top. When I saw the temple, I was absolutely surprised to see that an old man of more than 85 years of age, was climbing the mountain. His name was Shri Thorat and he was from a nearby place Cooper road. When I asked him how long it took him to reach at this top, he humbly told that since one week he is climbing to reach at the top. He also told that every year on Hanuman jayanti day, he visits the Hanumanji temple. The great old man also told me that since his childhood of 7 years, he is coming to Jarandeshwar every year. When he was young, he used to come every Saturday. A great true Hanuman devotee. I respectfully saluted the grand old man. When he reached at the temple, the Pujaris of the temple lifted him on their shoulders and put him in front of the Hanumanji idol and with highest respect. The idol is such a beautiful one that you feel very close to Hanumanji. Very holy place. From the top, you get excellent views of the nearby places such as Satara, Koregaon, Ajinkyatara fort, Sajjangad, Chandan Wandan etc. All these places are much below the height of Jarandeshwar because this mountain is the tallest mountain amongst all nearby peaks. Very very nice place to visit and get mental peace. R.S.Shirgurkar - Kolhapur.

I am follower of Lord Hanuman ji . I have visited so many places of hanumanjis temples but I haven't found a place like JARANDESHWAR. It's so amazing and adventures place to go out. It takes time to climb up but when you get at the top you will notice it's worth . Those who are true followers of hanumanji must visit this place . Jai bajrang Bali !
