  • Thanks for entering Vettarampatti in Wikimapia. Famous for the siva temple (vilangadeeswarar koil). Mother village (thaikkiramam) for the yadavas of six other villages (totally seven villages). Most yadavas of these villages have the sur name of 'karayalar'. Few have 'konar' and 'servai' also as the surname. Modern youth prefer 'yadav' title. By and large peace loving people. Many are in government service and few have made their presence in the private sector also. Any way majority of them are agricultural laborers and coolies in other profession like brick making, blue metal quaries. Almost every one has given up the traditional occupations like cowherds and sheapherds.

  • It is village located in foothills of western ghats. Climate is moderate throughout the year.Conducive climate for chicken farms and many horticultural activity (Lemon).
  • வேட்டரம்பட்டி திருநெல்வெலி மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு அழகிய கிராமம் ஆகும்.இங்கு யாதவர்களும் பலதரப்பட்ட சமுதாய மக்களும் வாழ்கின்றனர்.இங்குள்ள மக்களின் மிக முக்கிய தொழில் விவசாயமாகும்.இங்கு வெள்ளை விநாயகர் எனும் துவக்க பள்ளி உள்ளது.இது ஊர் மக்களால் 1837ல் சிறப்பாக தொடங்கபட்ட பள்ளியாகும். இதனருகில் ஏழூர், பெரியசாமியபுரம், முத்துசாமிபுரம், சங்கனாப்பேரி, செண்பகநல்லுர், கிருஷ்னாபுரம் மற்றும் அச்சம்பட்டிமினாட்சிபுரம்) யாதவ சமுதாய மக்களுக்கு பாத்தியப்பட்ட வெள்ளை விநாயகர் கோவிலும் உருதமலை அம்மன் கோவிலும் பார்வதி சமேத "விலங்கடி ஈஸ்வரர்" கோவிலும் ஊரின் காவல் தெய்வம் மாசாணபோத்தி கோவிலும் மற்றும் ராக்கு சக்தி அம்மன் கோவிலும் உள்ளது.இவை மிகவும் சக்தி வாய்ந்த கோவில்களாகும்.அனைத்து நாள்களிளும் பூஜைகள் நடத்தப்டும்.மேலும் முக்கிய நாட்களில் சிறப்பு பூஜைகள் நடத்தப்படும்.தமிழ் மாதம் மாசி மாதத்தில் வரும் கடைசி வெள்ளிகிழமை இரவு முழுவதும் "கட்டளை" எனும் திருவிழா நடத்தப்படும்.மேள தாளங்களுடன் பொங்கல் வைத்து சிறப்பு பூஜைகள் நடக்கும்.இதில்ஏழுர் யாதவ சமுதாய மக்களும் மற்றும் அனைத்து சமுதாய மக்களும் கலந்து திருவிழாவை கண்டு கழித்து இறைவனின் அருளை பெற்று இன்புறுவார்கள்.மேலும் ஏழு வருடங்களுக்கு ஒரு முறை தமிழ் மாதம் ஆனி மாதத்தில் வரும் முதல் வியாழன்,வெள்ளி,சனி ஆகிய மூன்று நாட்களும் "ஊட்டு" எனும் திருவிழா நடக்கும்.இதில் ஏழுர் யாதவ சமுதாய மக்களும் உலகின் எந்த மூலையில் இருந்தாலும் குடும்பத்தார் அனைவருடனும் ஊட்டு திருவிழாவில் கலந்து கொள்வார்கள்.இந்த மூன்று நாட்களும் ஊரே மிகவும் பிரகாசமாக காணப்படும்.வேட்டரம்பட்டியில் யாதவ சமுதாய மக்கள் நூற்றிபத்து குடும்பங்கள் வசிக்கின்றனர்.ஊரின் நாட்டாண்மையாக ஐந்து வருடங்களுக்கு ஒருவர் இருப்பார்.தற்போதய நாட்டாண்மையின் பெயர் திரு.சந்திரசேகரன் ஆவார்.இங்கு 2014 தை பொங்கல் அன்று "யாதவர் இளைஞர் சங்கம்(YES)" துவங்கப்பட்டது.இதன் மூலம் ஊறுக்கு நற்காரியங்க்கள் செய்யலாம் என்று முடிவெடுக்க பட்டுள்ளட்து.இதில் நூற்றுக்கும் மேல் உறுப்பினர்கள் இனைந்துள்ளனர்.இங்கு வருடா வருடம் கிருஷ்ணஜெயந்தி விழா சிறப்பாக நடைபெறும்.ஊருக்கு நடுவே விநாயகர் கோவில் உள்ளது.ஊர் பெண்கள் தினமும் விளக்கேற்றி வழிபடுவர்.ஊருக்கு மேற்கே துர்க்கை அம்மன் கோவில் உள்ளது.தமிழ் மாதம் ஐப்பசி மாதம் கடைசி செவ்வாய்கிழமை இரவும் புதன்கிழமை காலையிலும் திருவிழா சிறப்பாக நடைபெறும்.
