One of the best known engineering colleges in City. It's fully equipped with state of the art labs in all the departments. CS/CSIT department is ranked one of the best in State. Admission is fairly tough to get, because of huge demand in the CS/CSIT, Mechanical, Electrical and ECE departments. Students are highly competitive against each other as well as other engineering colleges. There is a lot of orientation among students to go abroad (USA,UK and Australia). Some of the highest scores in GRE/GMAT and TOEFL come from GRIET. Faculty is fairly new but they always deliver the goods. You don't always need professors like in OU or JNTU to guide you. I mean come on, you are in engineering. 80% of your merit should be based on your effort and not on the faculty.
