Gollapudi is a hamlet near to Pedapatnam village under Machalipatnam mandal. The sea coast is in this hamlet area.

This is a village of 250 houses. About 50 families are Gollalu (Cowherds / Dairy farmers), and the rest 200 are Palle karulu ( Agni Kula Kshatriya Rajulu). They are mostly fishermen.The village has a Ramalayam. It has a Cyclone shelter. It has a Govt. Primary School. APSRTC bus route no: 609 which originates at Koneru Center, Machilipatnam terminates here. The village administration does not permit liquor, gutka, playing cards, or entry of hired auto rickshaws. Village doesn't want to take risk of reduced revenues to the bus service due to hired auto rickshaws which may lead to termination of scheduled bus service which is so vital for the village.
