  • Named by Charles Roos to honor his wife Anne. It means Little Anne in Czechoslovakian. The park land was donated by the Roos family in 1979. Charles Roos was a physics professor at the University of California, Riverside. (Info published in the Riverside Outlook, April/May 2009 edition.)
  • And after 30 years, it's finally been turned into what it was intended for...why it take a city 30 years to build a park, i haven't got a clue.
  • This park destroyed the quiet ambience of the neighborhood above it. We live here and detest the park. Used to be coyotes living here, now its more fat parents cheering on their stupid kids meaningless baseball hits (aluminum bats ... tink tink tink). Notb to mention the bazing lights the kill the darkness. This place deserves all the gangs that will soon take it over and ruin it like they have the rest of Riverside's parks.Hopefully some sucker will buy our house.
  • People really need to get real. This park is located not too far from what use to be gang infested territory. If there is a large lot of land located near a home that you are considering purchasing, ask the realtor if there are any plans of future development on the land and also do some research yourself. After all it is your money and your investment. Considering that the city owned the land for 30 years and that riverside is one of the largest cities in california, one could just assume that they would not be neighbors with coyotes for a significantly long period of time. The children of riverside have a right to be cheered on by parents that take interest in their lives and they have a right to do it in a new well kept location.
  • you need Jesus to heal your pessimistic attitude
