  it is the place of maa mahamaya devi,the ancient murti of maa mahamaya is so powerfull.the landlord of kharora shri ramprashad dewangan had been founded the higher secondary school in memory of his brother bharat dewangan in1959.to dayit is knwn as bharat dewangan govt. hr.sec. school.kharora is nagar panchayat made by ex m.l.a. gangu ram baghel,uptahsil made by ex minister bhoopesh baghel in the mr.ajit jogi cmship.kharora is in developing stage,it is center of 50- 60 villages.kharora is famous for GURUWAR BAZAR.
