This is an old Quarry in the Park, for Ehret Magnesia Company (manufactured asbestos insulated pipes). The quarry was filled in with asbestos waste and debris; therefore it is fenced and posted as off-limits and hazardous.

There are always deer throughout this area, often in large groups.
