First home of John James Audubon in America. The house is now a museum that contains many mounted specimens of wildlife and Audubon's drawings. Recently purchased by the National Audubon Society it is an Audubon Center and runs many educational programs throughout the year. Maple Sugaring in February, Bat Night in the summer or early fall and an Apple Festival the first weekend are the best attended.
