The International Marine Passenger Terminal was the Toronto end of the short-lived Toronto-Rochester Ferry service. Although downtown Toronto is only perhaps three minutes "sailing" time from this location, the Toronto Port Authority owned the land and decided to put the terminal here, where it is completely isolated from just about everything. Although the TTC ran a bus service to the terminal, it took over half and hour to get downtown.

  • What faster transport options are available to cross from Toronto - Rochester aside from driving 3 hours around the lake? I have sailing competitions Sept 2007 in Whitby Yacht Club, CAN and in Rochester Yacht Club, NY, with just 1 day in between for travel.
