The Aragon Tower is one of London's tallest privately-owned residential towers at 92 metres and 31 floors. It contains 158 residential apartments ranging from 2 to 3 bedrooms. It was originally completed in 1962 and was refurbished in 2006.

Previously owned by the local authority, the London Borough of Lewisham, the riverside tower was sold in order to aid funding of its regeneration plans for the Pepys Estate. The renovation began in 2004 and was completed in the summer of 2006 by Berkeley Homes (East Thames), part of The Berkeley Group Holdings plc. Aragon Tower won numerous industry awards and its redevelopment along with that of the Pepys Estate that it formed part of, has served as a catalyst for the regeneration of the wider Deptford area.

Designed by Rolfe Judd Architects and constructed by Apex Construction, Aragon Tower represents one of the first large-scale tower block regeneration projects within London. 14 penthouse units, known as the Z Apartments, were added to the top of the Aragon Tower taking the building up from its original height of 76 metres 26 floors to its current height and continuing its position as one of the tallest residential towers in London. A new two-floor podium was also built and the tower also underwent a full reclad.

The project proved highly successful due to the strong collaboration throughout the process between Berkeley Homes (East Thames), the London Borough of Lewisham, and local residents groups.

The tower is situated on the banks of the River Thames in north Depford, Southeast London. From the higher floors, residents can easily see Tower Bridge, the London Eye, Canary Wharf, and the Millennium Dome. Access to the site is provided by the nearby Thames Clipper Riverboat service from Greenland Pier, and via the tube network from Surrey Quays and Canada Water.

The building was the main subject matter of a mid-2007 BBC1 documentary series titled "The Tower", which charted the tower's redevelopment from dilapidated social housing project through to desirable residences for the affluent.
