Eastern Ship Building's Nelson Street shipyard is an 11 acre facility, which has two 1,250 ton marine railways, a 700 ft. steel bulkheaded side-launch facility, one 19,200 sq. ft. fabrication building with overhead cranes and one 23,400 sq. ft. fabrication building with overhead cranes. In addition to these sipbuilding facilities, an electrical shop, carpenter shop, pipe shop, warehouse and sandblasting & painting shops are also onsite.
