Home of the Water Rats as we are known in town. Too bad the aristocrats from uptown don't have our beautiful views and the waterfront for their back yards.
This used to be an island before Route 20 connected it to the mainland. Years back, there was a horse racetrack here during the heyday of White City.
This area was also part of the summer home area of local Indian tribes even further back.
Lake Quinsigamond is one of the few inland lakes long enough to host rowing regattas.
