Completed in 1994, the Student Union serves as the student community center on campus. Truly a student-centered building, it provides a convenient area for all student services facilities and a gathering place for students. Located in the Union are the bookstore, fitness center, pool, racquetball courts, arcade, billiards room, food court, gallery, student organization offices, lounges, and meeting rooms. Scenario, a 24-foot bronze sculpture created by artist Ken Valimaki from Pickerington, Ohio, is located in the atrium. The 192,000 square foot Student Union is currently the largest building on campus connecting both the Physical Education Building, built in 1973, and the University Center, completed in 1967.
