The Lighthouse at Ponce de Leon Inlet (body of water), or Ponce Inlet(town), Florida was completed and its light first lit in 1887. Originally it was known as the Mosquito Inlet Light, but its name changed in 1927 upon the inlet being re-named. Towering 175 feet, the tower is open to the public and can be climbed to the top balcony.
The Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station became a National Historic Landmark in 1998.
