Hidden cemetery

Back in the woods behind IHP, there is a small cemetery that is pretty much completely unknown in the township. From what I remember it's enclosed in a low stone wall and has graves from the late 1700's and 1800's. Most likely it was part of the original Yeakel and Hedrick estates, two nearby old estates / houses.

  • Correct - it was Yeakel and Hedrick families there. The little creek that runs back there is also chock full of old bottles, glassware and other "trash" from the (I guess) 1800s.
