Completed 1935, Duke Chapel is the gothic centerpiece of Duke's West Campus. It was designed in 1932 by Horace Trumbauer with ironwork by Samuel Yellin. The vault of the nave and transept was created with structural elements from the Guastavino Fireproof Tile Co. Its choir stalls were executed by Irving & Casson - A.H. Davenport.
