This temple atop Anjanadri Parvatha is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and his mother Anjanadevi. Anjanadri Parvatha is said to be the birth place of Hanuman.

One has to climb about 500 steps to reach this temple. The hill offers a beautiful view of its surroundings; Tungabhadra rive, Rashyamukha hill and Hampi.
