Thyagi M.Chinnamuthu Mudaliar donated the land to constuct the Bharathamatha Temple at this place for that the foundation stone was laid by Desabandhu Sriman Chitharanjan Das in June 1923 A.D. The desire of our great freedom fighters like Rajaji, Periyar, V.O.C., Subramaniya Sivam, C.R.Das and Chinnamuthu yet to be pleased.
