Saint Lawrence Church (Bocholt)

Gothic cross basilica, whose tower dates from 1411 and the ship of 1476.
The construction of the church started earlier.
Between 1584 and 1586 the church was looted and burned by troops of the Prince of Orange.
In 1608 broke the spire during a hurricane and fell into the nave.
Installing new bells in 1726.
The church was heavily damaged by fire in 1944 during the withdrawal of German troops, and restored in 1950.
