St.-James's Church (Antwerp (municipality))

The chapel built at the end of the 13th century finally made way for a late-gothic style church in 1491. It was only completed in 1656, yet retained the original gothic design ensuring its consistency. The interior, however, is baroque. The tomb of the painter Peter Paul Rubens is located in one of the burial chapels. Protected architectural heritage (ID: 6155)
