Opened in December 2001 [www.hispanicbusiness.com/2003/1/20/mcdonalds_blockbuste...] as a prototype McDonald's (#21658) with an adjacent Blockbuster (which had entrances to each other inside the building). Despite being arguably the inspiration for the near-ubiquitous Redbox DVD rentals outside many McDonald's restaurants, this one does not, even after the closure of Blockbuster in spring 2013.
