The MV Queen of Burnaby sails between here and Comox's Little River Ferry Terminal four times each day. The MV North Island Princess is also based out of this terminal. She is a small catamaran ferry which sails between here and Texada Island. It was built in 1958, and is BC Ferries second-oldest ship, after the MV Mill Bay.
The Ferry routes are operated by BC Ferries.

The Queen of Burnaby was built in the 1960's and originally served the ferry route between Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver and Departure Bay, in Nanaimo. After some years, the 'Burnaby became too small a ship for this route, and was moved to some different routes before finally finishing on this one. BC Ferries will be retiring the Queen of Burnaby between 5 to 20 years from now.

  • It's the ferry that sails you to Courtney/Comox
  • And also, it may be confusing for tourists to find the REAL entrance to it.
