A long lived mine that produced high quality house coal. The substantial tip which is covered in conifers is just about all that remains together with a few scattered bits of stone foundations.The site was used for as a rubbish dump for many years after the closure of the mine which buried just about everything else.Closed in approx 1929 its demise quickly lead to its near neighbour Foxs Bridge also closing due to water ingress from Crump Meadows abandoned workings.
