Hugh Keenleyside Dam and hydroelectric station on the Columbia River. The "Arrow Lakes reservoir" was formerly two separate, large natural lakes called Upper and Lower Arrow Lake.

The dam was completed in 1968 as part of the Columbia River Project, to store water for downstream US power stations. A navigation lock was built into the dam for movement of tugboats and log booms from the reservoir to the mills downstream, and is also used by pleasure boats.

In 2002, a generating station with 185 megawatt capacity was built at the dam by Columbia Power Corporation (a Crown corporation owned by the Province of BC) and Columbia Basin Trust (controlled by BC government).
