Ranalai is a village situated in R.Udayagiri Block in Gajapati District, Orissa, India. It has around 330 houses among which 250 Christians and 80 Paikas. The population of Ranalai is around 1200. It has Church, mandir, an M.E. School, a dam for irrigation purpose. It has also a street named GUM city provided by Dr. K.A. Paul, the Christian missionaries from Andhra Pradesh who now resides in the USA. It has sub-streets namely Swarga Sahi, Shanti Nagar and Shalpa Sahi.

The sorrounding villages are Mahendragada to the North-East, Chheligada to the South-East and Chhelagad to the West of the village.
