This is the only area of Manitoba where a desert complete with sand dunes exists. Unfortunately, it is not open to the public. It has been used as an artillery range for close to a century now, and many unexploded shells still lie buried there

  • I'd love to see this but I don't think I'd want to be walking around where there are unexploded shells.... no thank you. Maybe clean it up and have annual open house events for people to see this unique desert in MB would be a good idea.
