Otashiv is an officially uninhabited village (after the Chernobyl accident) in the Ivankiv district of Kyiv region on the Kyiv Sea peninsula. 28 km southeast of Chernobyl in the exclusion zone. Before the accident, there were about 60 households. According to unofficial data, 12 people lived in the village in 2005, and 9 people in the summer of 2008.
It was one of the favourite holiday destinations of Kyiv residents on the banks of the Pripyat River, where there was a recreation centre "White Stork" and a hunting centre
