 american football stadium, 1994 construction

Formerly Globe Life Park in Arlington, it was used as a baseball stadium. It was originally named The Ballpark in Arlington until May 2004, when Ameriquest bought the naming rights to the stadium, renaming it Ameriquest Field in Arlington; the agreement lasted less than 3 years before the Rangers and Ameriquest mutually terminated it on March 19, 2007. After being known as the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington for a while, it was recently renamed Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The stadium was home to the Texas Rangers, a Major League Baseball team, and housed the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame. It was designed by David M. Schwarz Architectural Services, with HKS, Inc. as the architect of record, and constructed from April 1992 to April 1994 at a cost of $191,000,000. The ballpark has a seating capacity of 48,114, with 5,704 club seats and 126 luxury boxes. It hosted the 1995 MLB All-Star Game and the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in 2002 and 2004. It currently houses the Arlington Renegades of the XFL.

A replacement retractable roof stadium, Globe Life Field, was constructed, across the street to the south, and opened for the 2020 MLB season.
