The Los Angeles Sports Arena was a multi-purpose arena at Exposition Park. built in 1958. The arena was the site many historic events, including the 1960 National Democratic Party Convention that nominated John F. Kennedy to be the 1960 Democratic Party candidate for President of the United States. It was also a venue for the 1984 Olympics.The arena was the former of the L.A. Clippers basketball team.
The arena was demolished in 2016, to be replaced by the Banc of California Stadium.
