Founded in 1293 by Lord of Zerotin for nuns of the Franciscan Clarist Congregation of St. Elisabeth monastery in Prague. Abbey buildings were destroyed during the Husites wars. While the large church was never finished, the abbey was reconstructed, extended and served as a Prague abess summer-house. Later, after the monastery dissolution in 1782 it was employed as a castle.
Never completed church had been built with a number of years. The church has been composed of 21 meters long chancel, the walls rests unfinished at a height of about 20 meters. The belfry was built later. A variety of psychotronics, healers and spiritual artists has been attracted by it. Accessible free.
