Boardman Lake (Traverse City)

The Boardman river flows in from the South, through Logans Landing (unique shoppes, restaurants, office areas) and exits from the North, where it is largely held back by a short-fall dam with a fish ladder. While not a "recreational" lake, per se, it is modestly used for day-sailing and fishing.
