Boeing-Rocketdyne’s Santa Susana Field Lab (SSFL) property, in the Simi Hills, above West Hills (town).

- The south buffer area covers 1,140 acres of raw land. Research and industrial activities never occurred on these naturally vegetated areas. However it is the watershed for Bell Creek and can receive toxins from surface flow and two NPDES discharge outfalls and drainage channels located within the southern boundary area.
- Toxin migration below in the groundwater aquifer is of concern also.
